Walk in My Classroom - James Patterson

nThe son of a teacher himself, James Patterson's enlightening look inside today's classrooms is required reading for everyone who wants a brighter future for our kids. n n In classrooms across the country, teachers demonstrate resilience and ingenuity every day. They dedicate their lives to improving those of future generations while also facing unprecedented challenges--from book banning and political interference to limited funding and gun violence. nIn stories that are sometimes emotional, sometimes eye-opening, and always deeply honest, America's teachers share lessons we all need to learn: n n- There are so many misconceptions about education right now. n- Teaching isn't about being right or wrong, it's about listening and considering. n- There's always stuff going on well before the kids show up. n- There's tired and then there's teacher tired. n- If it could be just us and our kids, it would be the best job in the world.
