Peace & Holiness - Horatius Bonar

n nIn his preface to God's Way of Holiness, Horatius Bonar makes the case that the way of peace and the way of holiness lie side by side; or rather, they are one. If we as Christians want to have peace, we must have holiness. And if we want to have holiness, we must first have peace with God.n nPeace & Holiness combines Bonar's two classic devotionals on these twin subjects, God's Way of Peace and God's Way of Holiness. In short and simple chapters, Bonar lays out the truths of how we come to God and find our peace in Him--and how His sanctifying work changes us.n nBonar's method is not that of a professor or a theologian--but that of a humble pastor, calling his readers to God. These works were intended for those dealing with sin, hopelessness, and the brokenness of our world. In other words, they are for everyone.n
