Kati Douglas (she/her) is an educator, literacy consultant, and photographer. Douglas has committed her career in education to inclusivity and equity by leading with intention and advocating for literacy and joyful learning as a civil right. As a trailblazer in creating quality children's programming and products, she brings over 20 years of diverse experience as an early childhood teacher, museum curator, and performer. She is the visionary founder behind Play Plan Afrikan Kids, an initiative focused on early learning and outdoor education, and Nguzo Babies (nguzobabies.com), a children's edutainment brand that employs puppetry arts for storytelling.
