Abernathy: A Frankenstein Retelling -

nDisgraced surgeon Ramsey Abernathy isn't God; he doesn't make mistakes. At least, that is what he tells himself during countless hours of assembling body parts and sorting through bags of organs. Ever since the death of his brother, Ramsey has been obsessed with resurrection and reanimation. If he can find a cure for death, then science needn't stop at creation-it may yield its secrets for reversal, as well. All it will take him is one more...one more body, one more sleepless night. n nn nIf ever he feels like giving up, the ghost of his brother, an entity he calls 'Wisp', will raise cane until he sees results. Wisp is just as eager to have a body as Ramsey is to have a breakthrough, but neither can anticipate what will happen when science takes on a life of its own. n nn nSet deep in the heart of the Louisiana bayou, revisit the terrifying tale of Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN as you've never read it before.n
