From Oprah to Dolly, a selection of the 100 most remarkable lives as featured in The Sunday Times Magazine's "A Life in the Day." Wonderfully intimate, often humorous and occasionally profound, these portraits make for absolutely addictive reading. The first "Life in the Day" article appeared in the Sunday Times Magazine in 1977 and since then this highly successful feature has covered over 1,400 lives of the famous and not-so famous. This collection brings together 100 of the most interesting and unusual interviewees, from Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, Colonel Gadaffi, and Muhammad Ali to Kate Winslet, Michael Owen, and Christopher Reeve.

Illustrated throughout with photographs of the contributors, each interview includes a short update on "where they are now." This is irresistible reading for anyone interested in what world leaders have for breakfast and what film stars really do all day long.
