For Boys Only/For Girls Only

For Boys Only and its companion book, For Girls Only, are real sex-ed books that were published in 1952. Recently rediscovered, these old treasures have been bound together and printed as one volume so a new generation can laugh about this eternally awkward topic. In the Girls book, go with the girls off to camp where they'll learn about their changing bodies and roles in society from their beautiful camp director, Lady, and Dr. Marilyn, a guest speaker who encourages the girls to ask questions about everything from menstruation to marriage. In the Boys book, a group of boys hang out with the good doctor on his boat and in his car. In the course of their conversations, he schools them on the biological changes their bodies are going through and gives them advice on dating, getting along with their parents, and controlling their urges. Printed together for the first time, these books are a hilarious look back at a simpler time.
