Cambridgeshire

The advent of the aeroplane as an instrument of war ensured that even the most peaceful of counties experienced the horrors of war at first-hand. With bombs, aircraft and airmen falling regularly from the skies, this series looks at each county's experiences and presents the results in a lively and lavishly illustrated format. Using historians with specific local and aviation knowledge, this series pleases not only the aviation enthusiast but also the wider public who never knew what happened over their villages all those years ago.
